@ukraininoak ....I heard about Epstein's advances towards poor Pete. Pete rejected Brian's advances.....Lennnon didn't. Either way, it's all history now....Pete Best's story is the saddest story in rock n roll.

Pete seems to be a kind guy with lots of humility. Seems a little bit much that people would have an interest in making a film out of his life story. But if it helps pay for his family and retirement, and someone can actually make money off it, why not? Pete grew up a working class person without a college education. And he almost made it very very big with some childhood friends who moved on without him. And he has no real bitterness. That's a sign of a person with a lot of character.
