Civil War was the darkness, and Annihilation was the light shining through! 5/5 For Annihilation, Annihilation Conquests, and Nova. I need to read Guardians of the Galaxy though! I'm falling behind.

That's a lot to tell but I'll do a swift version that leaves a lot out: Marvel's Civil War breaks out and unbeknownst to them, Annihilus from the Negative Zone has invaded and brings total Annihilation. Billions die, including every single Nova Corps member except Richard Ryder who in turn gets all the power of the full Nova Force, Ronan the Accuser, Silver Surfer, Super Skrull, Drax the Destroyer, and Richard Ryder aka Nova each have their own 4 part comicbook. Nova gets his own comic afterward
