I am demonstrating how to forge a small hook.
The background is noisy, as I was using my air compressor while filming this. Sorry about that.
I know, I could punch the hole for nail, but using a drill is faster and safer.
This video was edited from a one shoot, which was about 10 minutes long. I wish I could have more time to do these videos properly. In here, you can see how the camera was moving from it's inital position, as I was hammering the iron. The video angle after that was not the best possible.
not making videos anymore? would be interesting to see someone forge a fishing hook, no one on youtube has done it yet.

@tails2fan each forge is different its a system of trial and error and once u get your eye in you can pull it out at the perfect time for your forging

one question, about how long do you leave the scrap metal in the fire before you take it out and beat away at it? im a Novice at this and i need to learn before i try to do any of this.

It's nice and clear, and anyone who likes smithing won't mind for a little noise in the background (unless you try talking at the same time of coarse)
