@ironjohn03 The suits you are talking about that got banned are the Speedo LZR; they came in leg, full body, and jammer form. NCAA/Olympics they have used full body suits all the time; just not the LZRs anymore.

if the suits have been a very big issue to FINA, then why Ian's suit was never an issue when he was making those world records and winning gold medals? That, literally, is a full body suit!

I keep waiting for the news that Thorpe is going to get back with Doug Frost and make his comeback at 400m free in London 2012. Sadly I don't think it's ever going to happen.
