Continuation of fiber preparation for hand spinning - working with purchased roving which includes super wash, hand painted Faulkland, Wensleydale and a carded batt of wool and Alpaca. Special emphasis on working with rovings that require splitting and predrafting to allow for the best spinning.

  • You have helped me so much. My yarn is getting better and better. I have a quesiton though... I have some wool roving and my mother gave me her cat's hair. Can I card the cat hair and add it to the wool roving when I predraft, or do I need to recard the wool with the cat hair? This hair is about and inch long, so I figure I will probably felt it after I have completed the item to help it hold up.

  • Thank you for three very useful videos.

  • I am so delighted with your videos. I have learned more from them and found them much more interesting than any others I have seen.
