first you tried to insert the straw in the purge port... then you show the straw inserted in the hose port. what's correct?

Kudos to you sir, I hope no one noticed. After fidgeting with the straw for a while I got it in, the wrong hole. I did not notice until after that clip was filmed. So the straw should be in the purve valve not the hose port. If you put it in the hose port, when it bubbles, water will likely get into the straw and into your hose. Do not do that.
