It's amazing how citizens of the US somehow think they're in the only free country in the world. Or that the rest of the world somehow wants to cross vast oceans and subjugate what would be an extremely cantankerous and uncooperative population.

It's a side effect of being infected by fundamentalist Christian beliefs, where you think you're the only holy people in a world controlled by Satan.

But too much order the other way, you get totalitarianism, e.g. The Third Reich!

Sadly the truth is if America doesn't maintain imperialism of the world both us and America would go into recession. Every time a nation goes up in the world like China that takes money out of our industry. We would also get ganged up if we flat out attack them. So to put it flat if we didn't do this we would end up suffering the reason for our recession now is because Asia is stealing our business in mass producing automobiles. However America and Canada will no doubt free Tibet to weaken china

Sorry People but the world isn't nice and it isn't clean cut.  Its easy to sit back and critisize the US foreign policy, but it's that same policy that keeps us free.

Make no mistake, much of the rest of the world would love to conquer and enslave the US and its citizens, and its only through constant vigilance that we maintain our freedom.
