Uncut protection work performed 5/1/11 of Charlie (Gatlin vom Germelhaus) at Labonte Canine. Bite work on Demanet suit (jacket only). Lately we have been working on control and especially the out as my dog tends to not out when very high. He outted very well here until the end of the video and then we put him up. We also wanted to gauge his level of control which has increased significantly with our recent method using a ball as reward off the bite. He's a great dog to work with and absolutely loves the work.

He's keeping an eye on the camera b/c that's his mom operating. This was a fun session for him but he will get very serious when pushed and has a very high sense of territory and pack protection. I have full confidence in him as a true protection dog.

  • You need to focus more on the dogs bite and grip. Not bad but i would use the leash, apply back pressure and then release the pressure so he can counter in deeper...

    looks good keep working hard!

  • @BBowieK9 Thanks for the feedback. As I said we were working on getting quick outs here and not focusing on his bite/grip. But yes it could have been better at times but was not the focus of this session.
