The Kodak P460 Personal Photo Scanner has an adapter to scan 35 mm negatives at 1200 dpi.

This video shows the P460 in action, scanning 4 negatives to an SD card, and then it shows what the scans looked like.

  • This scanner only works with 35mm film. It does not have an adapter for 16mm or 8mm film.

  • The slideshow was from scanned negatives, not scanned prints.

  • It scans the negatives as individual frames. The slideshow at the end of the video was made using the photos that were scanned during the making of this video.

  • Interesting feature, to scan every frame separately from strip.

Is it possible to scan 16mm or 8mm film as strip to individual frames?

Some special guiding frame must made, but does soft recognize smaller frame size?

  • @ioTrakDocs

please clarify - the slideshow was made from scanned photos, NOT scanned negatives?

  • does this scan negs as individual frames or is the file the whole strip and need to be separated into frames?
