@jwc7215 no, you weren't. females began graduating from aggy in the 1920s, & there has never been any policy denying females admission to the University of Texas-agriculture & mechanical branch/collie statiowned (as it was named by the State of Texas Legislature in 1874, as a branch school, specializing in animals/farming & mechanic work.

I can't believe all of the ridiculous comments on this page. Both schools excel in various academic programs. Both schools excel in athletics. Both schools have their traditions. They're both great schools. Congratulations to anyone who graduates from either A&M or Texas. Why don't we all grow up a little bit?
