Arne Duncan, U.S. education secretary, along with Dennis Van Roekel, president of the National Education Association, and Cynthia Apalinski, a third-grade science teacher from New Jersey and a 2012 Teaching Ambassador Fellow, lead a town hall meeting Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 in the atrium of Emporia State's Visser Hall, home of the university's Teachers College.
