The SubiAus car club hit the Canberra skidpan, and I was there to film it. Heres the Foresters from the day.

  • u sir are an idiot, good luck getting the money back from that project. and i think if u had that much money u would get something better than that. do u think a wrx is a peice of shit, foresters got the same engine. personaly i think ur a bullshitter

  • 09 HSV, not a bad set of wheels, I definately wouldn't say no to one of them. I'll admit it would probably rip most things in a straight line, once it got up a bit of momentum.

The only problem is your HSV may be twice as much as my Forester new, but even with the "shit load" of mods, come four or five years it will be exactly the same price as a top of the range Forester of the same year.

Also cornering for a commodore is still a mission, see any in the rally circuit?

    Cheers mate!

  • OMFG. First off you said commodores where better, o.k maybe if you have price restraints or want an average car with above average depreciation, so I'll let you off on that comment.

But the other two comments... were you high when you wrote them? Firstly I don't think a commodore can go fast anywhere, I used to smoke them in my old Magna, secondly a commodore takes a corner with the same amount of control, roll and stability as a 12 storey apartment building in the event of a landslide.

  • Great video! Looiks like fun.

    Forester X 2.5l Québec, Canada

  • 80-120km/h?? It's polished concrete under 5cm of water and the longest srtaight is about 50m. You more or less red line it all the way in 2nd gear.

You are a clown - especially if you think a rear wheel drive would manage any better.

  • you are an idiot, look at the conditions

  • ha the guy dropped his exhaust

  • nice!

  • I wish we had a skidpan around here, lots of fun!

  • Looks like way too much fun. Good show :)
