Zespół Krakersy został założony przez studentów Wydziału Elektrycznego Politechniki Wrocławskiej . W 1983 roku odniósł spory sukces - zdobywając II-gą nagrodę na festiwalu Piosenki Studenckiej w Krakowie- imprezie, która na polskim rynku wypromowała wielu znanych artystów. Podstawą twórczości zespołu były głównie kabaretowe teksty, traktujące nie rzadko o absurdalnej rzeczywiści w czasach PRL, oprawione ciekawymi kompozycjami i aranżacjami muzycznymi. W latach 1983-1987 zespół brał udział w corocznych letnich warsztatach kabaretowych w Łazach prowadzonych przez legendę polskiego kabaretu Zenona Laskowika, które każdorazowo wieńczyl spektakl z udziałem młodych aktorów, aktualnie w wiekszości gwiazd polskiego kina. W latach 1983, 1984 i 1990 Krakersy wzięły udział w dużym festiwalu studenckim "FAMA" w Świnoujściu, ostatniego roku biorąc udział w koncercie poświęconym twórczości tragicznie zmarłego legendarnego barda studenckiego i czasów "Solidarności" Jacka Zwoźniaka. W roku 1988 i 1990 grupa dokonała nagrań dla Polskiego Radia we Wrocławiu specjalnie dla znanego programu kabaretowego "Studio 202" Pod koniec lat 80-tych zespół opracował na wesoło taneczne przeboje z lat 50-tych i 60-tych grając na licznych imprezach karnawałowych a nawet weselach udzielając nowożeńcom 6 letniej gwarancji harmonijnego pożycia małżeńskiego. Na początku lat 90's włączył również do swojego repertuaru tematy folkowe i wystąpił na festiwalu "Folk i szanty" we Wrocławiu. W nowym tysiącleciu zespół pojawił się gościnnie na wrocławskim festiwalu Piosenki Debilnej oraz podczas koncertów poświęconych tragicznie zmarłemu wrocławskiemu poecie Chrystianowi Belwitowi. Na rok 2009 zespół zapowiada REAKTYWACJĘ !!!!!!!!!!!

The band Krakersy was formed by the students of the electrical faculty of the Technical University in Wrocław. The band took place in some artistic young artists festivals gaining in 1983 quite big success - the second price on the Students Songs Festival in Cracow. This festival was the turning point for many Polish stars, which are famous now-a days. The band described himself the musical cabaret. They wrote comedy words, very often about the nonsenses of the communist reality in Poland in 80's, but they also care about the music arrangements inspired by blues, jazz and contemporary folk. Between 1983-1987 the band took part every year in the summer workshops leaded by very famous Polish comedy man Zenon Laskowik in the Polish shore village called Łazy. Every year the workshop was concluded by the final spectacle. Many young actors ( that time) some of them are very famous in Poland now- a- days took part in this project. In 1983,1984 and 1990 the band took part in the famous in Poland Students Art Festival "FAMA" in Świnoujście - Polish Baltic see shore town. Last year they took part in the tribute to Jacek Zwoźniak concert -students and Solidarity bard killed in the car crash in 1989. In 1988 and 1990 Krakersy recorded some songs for the Polish Radio in Wrocław for the famous cabaret programme "Studio 202" In the late 80's the band played the dancing programme consisting of the 50's & 60's hits arranged in funny ways. They played on carnival parties and wedding parties as well giving to the new -married 6 years guaratie of the live in the harmony and love. In the beginning of 90's they even played some folk tunes and performed on the Wrocław's festival " Folk & Szanty" . In the new century they have performed on the comedy fesitival " Festival of the Goof Songs" in Wrocław and on shows that are tribute to the tragically died Wrocław's poet -Chrystian Belwit. The reunion of Krakersy is planned for the 2009!
