its not the denting that is the main problem with having your drums like that....it makes you change your technique...you want your hand to be almost parallel to the drum head when you strike it and when the drum is tilted this damn much it is impossible to even come close

hey, just random advice, if you keep your toms like that at an almost 90 degree angle, ur gonna dent ur drums, im not a heavy drummer, but when i had my toms like that, a heavy drum played on my set and dented them. and its not fun spend a hundred bucks on full head replacements. just saying.
