i always thought the speed of ur movement has nothing to do with time, but seriously what do i know. seems like regardless of how fast something is moving it still exists and is just moving more quickly across matter than something else. why does the speed at which space is covered must have some relation to the time it was covered in? (im familiar with space time idea) just dont see how it slows the time,?

Time is relative only to being alive, conscious or self aware. Time would not exist if there were no consciousness to perceive it.

@gerbengeeraerts Thats simply how we measure time......time its self is a mystery....i guess it's a term for aging or growing younger or moving through space......it is confusing.......we're not yet evolved enough to fully grasp it.......

@goldensleeves You can....If you were perfectly still and the universe was moving at the speed of light your perception of it would differ to those going along with it.....this though would imply that you can be separate or even outside the universe which is (by our current understanding) impossible because your a part of it....also its much easier to use something people can relate to like a train.....the train isn't important though...
this is very interesting thank u for taking ur time 2 upload this good quality video

Time is pretty weird. In my Calculus lecture, it flows forward and then backwards... Therefore a 50 min. lecture feels like a 3 hour lecture instead.
