@GaiusIuliusTaberna I am an atheist as well but to say that american conservatives are the same as muslim extremists goes a little bit to far....they dont believe in wife abuse or child abuse and certainly do not advocate the genital mutilation of girls....also im pretty sure no 12 year old american girl has ever been married to a 45 year old american man

how can the point of this be so lost on all of you? The Taliban, Al Qaeda... and all of these terrorist groups... are right wingers... they are conservatives... who despise feminism, homosexuality, liberal media, and pretty much everything cultural conservatives in america hate... About the only distinction there is, is that they think Jesus was a prophet and not a god... they even believe the virgin birth for pity sake... Well at least we atheists don't have to worry about being out flanked..

Victor Davis Hanson and Chris Hitchens help changed my mind on the Iraq war a while ago,so I'm glad to see they are in this,especially Victor Hanson.

I think one of the worse ideas is a short sightedness and obsession of people that until BinLaden is captured,nothing else should be done. Not that he's not important,but if you form a battle plan around one person you're setting yourself up for defeat. History shows short views like that never bring a good result.
