My grandfather's been smoking since he was 13. He has every lung problem on Earth and is on oxygen. He had a heart attack three years ago. Everyone hates him.

He's still alive. Sometimes life isn't fair.

i absolutely love the campaign.its true!! people are dying everyday due to smoking cigarettes that have all the additives.electronic cigarettes are the future.the future is now!!!if we can campaign for saving the ta-ta's then we need to campaign for saving lives!!!!!!!

ciggerettes are not an indulgence, there an addiction. people rarly enjoy there first ciggerett and only feel bettter after smoking because it relieves the effects of withdrawal . peopl WANT cake, beer, and marijuana. regardless of if you want to smoke or not, once your hooked, you HAVE to smoke.

@SpecialEdward121 well sort of hit a nerve lol. In the UK there thinking of also banning smoking outside, generally the newly formed smoking garden lol, I find this ridiculous. As i said smoke inside confined spaces in the past has been hard to breath even for me as a smoker due to very poor ventilation. Outside in a beer garden where the impact of cigarette smoke is less harmful than the exhaust fumes we have to put up with every day. Thats my point about exhaust fumes, 4x4 hillbillymobiles lol

@fireicr: But really I doubt there's much danger of that. I know smokers & I know cyclists. Those 2 sub groups of my friends have zero overlap. Personally I don't give a shit if you or anyone else smokes. Slow suicide is a personal choice & don't believe anyone has the right to deny a person that.

I just don't want the stupid fuckers doing it where I have to smell the shit & I don't want my tax dollars paying to cure a self inflicted disease.

If a pack of assholes want to drive their buttfucking 4X4 Hillbillymobiles there's not much I can do about that. And I shit you not I live in Garland, TX, (a city adjacent to Dallas, TX), yes there are millions of numb nuts drivers who think they need a dual axle vehicle to pick up 2 bags of groceries. If some putz cowboy runs you & your Schwinn off the road carry a fucking hand gun. I'm pretty sure a pickup truck can't outrun a bullet.

@SpecialEdward121 It has to be said though that smoking in confined areas such as badly ventilated pubs especially clubs as there ventilation is beyond a joke on co2 levels from breath is deadly. The risk of health effects from cigarette smoke in the open air is non existent and any that can be is minuscule compared to other pollution so i stand by the current ban. If an establishment installed a powerful filtering system then i cant see any reason not to allow it back indoors.
