  • @MegaKiwifish No tubes here.

  • No balancing?

  • @SpeedsterGuyCoverage We're changing tires with a shovel here, haha.

No but seriously, I've stopped balancing my tires over the years and for what we do, I don't notice a difference.

  • alot of people don't have strong enough compressor's/pumps to seed there tire.. could of mentioned that..

  • Not bad. But you made it harder than it needs to be. Did a GW1800 set. The trick is WOOD BLOCKS. 4- 3/4" blocks for the rear, 1/2" for the front, to push the tire into the rim drop when makes the job a piece of cake. Push the tire bead down as far as you can and around the as much of the rim as you can and insert wood blocks. Lift the tire bead over the rim. Use plenty of lube. Soap is fine. When you seat the bead, don't get crazy with the air. Watch the max pressure.

  • lol i don't know much about motorcycle tire recycling, but if you are not actually planing to recycle these, why don't you just cut the old tire in half and save yourself lots of sweat?!?

  • get a truck tyre leaver make this job alot more easy for 1 person

  • How do you know when you need to change a motorcycle tire? Penny method or what?

  • Hmm i can picture scratched and chipped paintwork on rims especially if it's not factory finish so debating wether to just pay a few quid and get someone with a machine ... nice vid though !

  • This was awesome

  • tire machine, lol shit we don't need that, helpful vid man. btw i like the shovel idea, lol thats good...

  • Hahaha great video man I have battled one on, will not do it anymore lol...now i'm glad my mechanic changes them for the free and gives me slightly used tires on the house cause i am learning my circles and drifting...

  • I'm guessing most people that suggest changing a tyre is a really easy, 10 minute, one man job has never put a Bridgestone BT023 on, they are a complete nightmare if you are on your own. I've done it 3 times now (2 rear 1 front) and it doesn't get any easier. Sports tyres put themselves on in comparison.
