Directing water to a drainage system can help prevent the heaving. If water pools and has no where to go the mass volume of water can heave. Always provide grade of the subgrade to a low end and collect the water in a drain or drywell.

In my experience, porous paving materials tend to heave in climates like mine (Spokane, WA) when the water that seeps through freezes beneath the pavement and forces the material upward causing cracks and failure. Have you done any testing in regards to this? Does your product come with a warranty against premature failure?

There is no testing date to support the bogus AND blatant lies by Kevin Bagnall! research him in England, bankruptcy, US Bankruptcy, 5 marriages, look at the product installations after a few months, it falls apart. He can't keep employees because he is a thief on all levels!
