Fly Fishing action while navigating the Flathead River, Montana from my inflatable pontoon. The streamflow at launch was 7620 cfs - water temperature 55 degrees Fahrenheit - an the morning temperature outside 53 degrees. The streamflow has slowed presenting different hazards to navigate. You'll notice a haze in the air of this video - This is due to area wildfires and most definitely smells like smoke while running the river.

This is a great reminder to be careful with campfires. Kinda gives me the blues knowing there are four incident reports of wildfires in the Flathead National Forest when I navigated this river. read article @ http://www.outacc.com/2011/08/fly-fishing-adventure-plus.html

  • @TimmyStocks Thanks, I wanted to bring the beauty, action and challenges of fly fishing from an inflatable pontoon to life while navigating the river. The wildfire smoke sadly was extra due to the incidents in the forest at that time.

  • Nice production and great tunes Bro
