I think this is very well done. I like the time change

can any of you musical experts who commented here look at my version of this song and let me know what timing it is sung in????

Great job Ozark Billy,

@JSprad9821 Not so man. There are clearly three beats per measure in his cover of this song. It can't be 6/8. If he were playing in compound time (and he isn't) it would have to be 9/8. He is playing in 3/4 with a swing rhythm.

@simonpringle listen to the accents on the down beats of "1" and "4" and listen to the words....it's 6/8 i promise.
-
@infosoldier1 well if you are going to try and correct someone who is being "a dick" then you better be damn sure you're right. See i don't know where you come from or where you learned to count time in music but to me and the rest of the knowledgeable music world thats 6/8 time signature...and just to add to that, if you would like to take a glance at the reply @harmlessj left on my comment, he clearly states himself that it is 6/8 time. Anything else you would like to try and correct me on?

excellent .......WELL DONE.......
-
@JSprad9821 That ain't 6/8.

haha i didnt really mean for that to sound so rude so i apologize. thats just my opinion, dont let me stop you from being yourself and i would never go against what ole hank says. i would have done the same. ha
you made a 4/4 song into a 6/8 and i hate it. you sang it good but you ruined it.

That's cool I understand. Mr. Williams came to me in a dream and said "Son, these is just songs. Don't worship 'em, just play 'em the way you want." As he walked into the mists he turned and hollered, "by the way I always meant to sing Ramblin' Man in 6/8. Keep on!" When I woke up in the morning my pillow was soaked in whiskey and there were cigarette butts on the floor by my bed. Wierd.
