Let's look at the bright side Ethiopia is at least more stable and free, still poor but trying hard to defeat possible, as much as that's possible given our current global set up. one the other hand our region of east Africa still remains a savage place. Take Somalia, Sudan, Eritrea and even other African countries we are doing ok. the one worrying aspect is high prices. If we don't control that we are in trouble

@safariman2000 I agree with you in some regards, for instance in respects to the West not intervening as well as the EU and UN in Ethiopian government social policies. USA has it's own domestic problems, two wars in the Middle East and terrorism which is a global problem. West can do only so much in Ethiopia. This is a sad fate Ethiopia must endure without Western intervention, but there is hope. Time will tell. African politics to me is wicked and there is no perfect system in the world as well
