I thought it was something like that...like in the book Zechariah (ch12, to use scriptural reference), concerning when Israel gets attacked by the surrounding nations:

"On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem. And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, ..."

.but maybe Bill knows more?

I'm agnostic, but I don't believe the Bible says the Jews will be killed. It says that in the last days the Jews will become Christians. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Well "Jew" can refer to any person ethnically descended from (the tribe of) Judah, or a person who follows the religion (Judaism) of those ethnic people, but who do not accept Jesus.

I wasn't asking about Islam; I think its pretty well established that according to Islamic belief "all Jews will die" at that time. It seemed to me that Bill Maher was connecting that belief to Christianity, and I was just curious about any supporting scriptural reference.

Can anyone give one?

i may be a bit confused here..amy holmes said "because they [many christians] believe that's where the 'end of days' will happen and they want to protect israel". bill maher implies that all jews will be killed according to christian belief. why would one attempt to protect what they believe cannot be protected? that's just a rhetorical question for thought; my real question is: Where does this idea, that Christians believe all Jews will die at that time, come from? (reference please) thanks!!
