Macedonians celebrate the victory of Macedonia vs Lithuania September 14, 2011 in the center of Skopje in front the brand new fountain of Alexander the Great and his Macedonian phalanx. Macedonia eliminated the host Lithuania from the semi-finals and went there instead as one of the 4 best European basketball countries. Macedonia defeated Greece, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Finland, and Lithuania.

With the victory against LT we wanted less i guess... , you deserve it Macedonia :) it's very sad that you didn;t get bronze, but you rewrote the history of Macedonian basketball, congrats. :)

@makedoniarch congratulations for this win which you didn't deserve.but we'll beat the the crap out of you next year. i can assure you. we're the champions,. you're just lucky that we played awful yesterday. but good luck in developing your basketball. but don't forget. if not Lithuania, ypu wouldn't be even playing in the eurochamp because we were the ones who asked to extend it to 24 teams ;) be greatful and dont get cocky :)

MAKEDONIJA ole ole ole ole ole.I love Macedonia so PROUD to be a Macedonian!I loved it when they showed 15000Lithuanians crying out loud!The media all around the world speak about the Glorius victory against 15000 crowd (6th player) and the Referie(7th player) for Lithuania,but Ilievski(migthy Achilis) like a thunder stroke them and burned the stadium.I couldnt belive that host security wanted to take Macedonian flag its like in SSSR regime ERA over there no democracy.
