@gobblegobblechew First president not to play golf? Are you kidding me? People raved about Obama golfing on one of his Hawaii vacations last year. Not to mention that he takes more vacation than Bush (believe it or not).

People act like Barack Obama is the first athletic president in history because he's good at basketball. Don't forget that George W. Bush was a really good baseball player (not to mention a much better ceremonial first pitch pitcher than Obama), and did all sorts of bike riding during his down time. Heck, if Bob Dole would have won president, the vice president (Jack Kemp) would have been an ex college football star that I'm sure the media wouldn't gush over because he's an old, white, GOPer.
