  • I use a cheap vacuum sealer to store them.

  • lol butter fingers :-) It's awesome to be teaching your kids this stuff too. Did you explain to him what you're preparing for?

  • The oxygen absorbers come vacuum packed! You should revacuum pack them as this method shown will only allow oxygen in around the lid and over time they will be useless. If the lid on the jar vacuum back down like in canning then and only then will you have an air tight container. Best to just revacuum pack in a jar or bag.
