lets be serious here as big as the Oasis is the ship can not go anywhere other than a 7 day cruise around the Caribbean to the same ports over and over... because of its the ship will never visit Europe it will never visit Australia, Asia, New Zealand, Alaska the list goes on... While Cunard can although RCI think the bigger the better they are actually going into serious bankrupt with Oasis because there not selling all there rooms out to the public.
@rjwhyte08 Also, in terms of populairty, how do you measure that? In it's day, sure, the Cunard Line was by far the most popular. Yet today, figures put Carnival in front, followed by RCI. Don't get me wrong, give me the choice and it'll be Cunard every time. But as companies, there is no match between the Cunard Line and the big three today. They carry the most passengers, sail the most routs, have the greatest innovations and make the largest ships.

@malioil2 The main reason they have lost is they don`t have the money as RCI has as there income from there big fleet is massive but Cunard Line is small but still hold the rank of being the company with the biggest `Ocean Liner` and without her in there fleet Cunard Line would be nothing i think. They need to build a bigger fleet in the future to stay on top or near it.

You can't compare these ships- but if I had to, Oasis are the 'Queens' of today- bar perhaps the Queen Mary 2. When the original Queens were built, they were revolutionary, the greatest ships, largest ships of their day. That is what the Oasis class is today to cruising. The current Queens are a return to a bygone era, the Oasis is a ship of today. Given a choice, who would I sail with? Cunard all the way. But in terms of design, in terms of stature and impact, nothing gets close to Oasis.

@malioil2 Cunard Line is the most popularity Shipping Line ever it survived so many threats like bankruptcy ect. The Queens are still the most popular decades ago Cunard Line had twice as much of ships in its fleet than Royal Caribbean International toady. Cunard has 3 now :D the reason is there is so much large ships getting built from all parts of the globe but if it was Cunard Line VS Royal Caribbean International Cunard would win 100%.

Well, first of all, they are different kinds of ships... The Cunard liners are ocean liners, they are meant to be a means of travel, like an airplane.... they are faster and more capable in open ocean than cruise ships like the Oasis... which is meant to putt around a specific area, like the Caribbean and visit numerous ports on a single cruise...

@Draxillior everybody knows that Oasis is cruise ship but Cunard is not all Ocean Liners Queen Elizabeth is a cruise ship so Queen Victoria the only biggest Ocean Liner today is Queen Mary 2 but she is express type too. Check out Cunard Wiki and fleet.
