@LWRCftw haha cool. mantis makes quality products. no bull shit. no matter how cheap the price is. and you can tell by there warranty. what other company offers lifetime no questions asked warranty. they will fix it. if they cant its a new one to your door!

@fumbimo lol the ironic thing about that is I've gotten a couple of Mantis Karambits since that comment and I love them to pieces.

@LWRCftw you probably have found something by now but check out Mantis Knives. Great quality knifes. they have a bunch of folding karambits with a very unique style
-
@cyleleghorn246 oh, cool. I'll probably have to look into those.

@LWRCftw I dont know if you have bought your folding karambit yet, but im looking at the Fox karambit. Its folding, Italian made, and DOES have the Emerson wave feature. If you are like I was a week ago, and have never heard of Wave, it basically opens the knife on the draw, as it leaves your pocket. Anyways, the cheapest I was able to find the Fox karambit was on google shopping for $82 bucks.

@FrenziedCalm not much if he spent all his money

@FrenziedCalm DUDE that's expensive.... I think I'll just get a Mantis.
I'm in the market for a folding Karambit and they seem to be either super cheap or super expensive. Are there any middle ground ones? Like $40 - $50 range?

@LWRCftw - I would only buy one with the Emerson Wave feature. This is a defensive knife, there is really no other possible use... how much is your life worth?

@FrenziedCalm I know a knife dealer that can get me knifes for 45% off so would $110.00 be a good price for an Emerson Micro Commander? Thanks, Joshua

@gunlover900 - If he sells you Emersons at 45% off he's gonna expect some sexual favors or something too dude... just sayin.

How are these to sharpen with the curved blade?

@Castleknight - I keep mine razor sharp. Its not used at all generally, since its a "defensive knife", so once sharp it stays sharp... but I do occasionally run the stones on it anyway. I see no issues sharpening curved blades, I prefer curved blades actually, like this and the Commander shapes. Those that use gizmos to sharpen their straight blades may feel differently of course.
