"One"

*Click More to see lyrics etc* Hi there everyone, this poem is set to a classical song, one of my favorites, a variation of Pachebel's Canon in D by David Lanz. Commonly played at weddings, this song is known to many, but I feel it fits this poem so eloquently. All new images for you too. This poem is also being considered for my book, so please constructive comments are welcome. This is lyrics rich, and is meant to be long, so get comfortable haha. Floating across the room, tis I in your sweet embrace, touching your face so tenderly, we are in bliss. Where none here but you and I, after, and none hence for our world has become one, and dreams turned reality. Beautiful and pure, our love is, as we are joined into one, we share the deepest parts of our souls, and each completing the other. Reciprocating all that we held inside, at last with our dear one, forever and never to part. How lovely you are to me my darling, give me but a kiss to feel all inside rushing for you, this passion held so immaculately, and returned. Let me behold your eyes, how they dance in the flickering flames surround, losing myself in the lights therein. And your skin, how soft tis to me, as the finest silk adorning my caress, feeling your desire racing through you for me. Brushing your lips against mine, so passionately we dive into ecstasy, as your hands feel their way up my back, drawing me ever closer to you. How easily I sway to your touch, to these hushed whispers between us of adoration, so perfect and flawless we are. Gazing into the very depths of you I see a reflection of myself there, and my breath is so stolen away from me, eternally within you, as you find yours within me held so sweetly. My love for you overpowers me leaving me weakened in you, my heart knows not a place save with you. And my life was none before you, having dreamt of you in endless nights, now to have you standing in front of me, loving me, adoring me. With my hand in yours, I will follow you anywhere, rescue me far away to a place where the world can see such unrelenting affection, and know what is in fairy tales is real, and right here betweenst us. For I cannot live without you, I must have you to hold and cherish, my darling, stunning you are to me, and I fall ever deeper in your spell cast so gently over me. The heavens are jealous of you, for their beauty cannot compare to the immaculate wonder that is you, and the oceans protruding depths cannot come close to the vast love we draw here. Oh that all would be as past, that we may wait no longer and escape away into each other, never to return. To adorn you so tender, give my love for you a voice in pleasure, through every caress it pours out so fully into you, filling you from within, to circle back to me. And so we are, one soul, one body, disappearing into this mystical beauty of our sensuality, flying betweenst us, surrounding us still, and carrying us away into the other. To touch you is felicity, and to feel your skin against mine so magical darling, oh I need nothing and no one else, but you. You complete me, none lacking, so brimming with intense emotion, I come alive in you, and you in me. Your cheeks brighten as the dawn, your lips soft and succulent, your stare how it draws me in, where I never return hence, to stay forever. And your embrace how it wraps around me as a blanket, warming me from the inside, this fire that rages with passion for only you. Steal me away my love, forsake all else and I will follow you as blind, trusting and to eternally remain yes I would. Your voice is as the sweetest song, not even a symphony of notes could compare, so lovely to me, oh speak those words I love to hear from you, over and over, that I might fade to find you, my treasure, completer of my soul. You breathe life into me sweetness, for twas so empty before I found you, a chasing after the wind. And now that I have you, I swear I will never let you go, for there lies such joy and untold happiness in your smile. Rest in me my darling, for I will carry you through good and bad, I will be at your side, to face what comes may, for your love is ever pure and priceless, and even the most elated of times pales in comparison to this which we share. In this dance of ours, let it be last in dreams, for life has kept me waiting, and wait no longer may I, strength eludes me ever weakened, with each anticipation of next we are. Oh carry me with you, far and away beyond our fantasies, into a life where tis but you and I, to bring to realness all we dare hope for and hold. For an ancient love tis in our midst, and is ours as a precious adoration to foretell our tomorrows, hand in hand, never to part, forever as one.

Once again, intense yet elegant in its expression of living devotion. You speak well of the richness of love. I like your choice of music for this piece; its finale mated so well with the summation of the verse. Your images implied many different facets of love in this one, not only the intimacy of mature love, but the timlessness of love as expressed in the children.
