Again .. just giving wondering minds a taste of what judo is... to maybe get rid of the "karate CHOP!" stereotype. It's 2 girls fighting and finally one getting an arm lock.. ( they hurt T_T) it's a good clip :P Enjoy

  • not everybody is a judo player so this is not common knowledge...

however common human courtesy and kindness is a more universal and common concept that you seem to need to master more then your knowledge of judo.

    have a nice day.

  • well i have trained 4 years in bbj, and now i'm under john saylor,3-time National Judo Champion,2-time Pan American Medalist, 7 year coach of olympic center, and i see stuff in each art that are effective.

  • Great judo.

  • Great judo.

  • @charliealphatango11 oh ok someone said Okuri eri jime. If thats the case thats fine

  • Did the judoka in white win by an ankle lock or leg lock or something? I'm a bit confused. I do Judo but I thought they were illiegal

  • this does not look friendly at all

  • @FuckingBoozer

I respectfully disagree. I practice both... and while BJJ and Judo share very similar groundwork. BJJ guys tend to be LOADS less agressive. Take the basic guard pass. In BJJ I was taught to posture up to break the closed guard, control the legs and pass the guard. In Judo I was taught to grab the skin above and to the right of the knee, twist and push until the person on the bottom broke his guard from the pain.

Judo is very aggressive, much more so because of the time limit.

  • i rekon judo typically wins most modern karate styles nowaday because they are not trained in grappling so once the judoka moves in close range the karateka has already lost coz they dont know wot 2 do

  • no Okuri eri jime....

  • Sorry but both of you are wrong... The move she used is known as Okuri eri jime. That is why she held the leg while her right hand held her lapel to choke her.... Here is the best demonstration of it so you can see
