  • Hey sir cooke, what kind and size of wheels you got there? My mate rob has almost finished his black xb coupe and your wheels would set it off perfectly. appreciate any info you can pass on.

  • @cameron300462 I regret buying tens instead of manning up and going the twelves. Tyres are cheap but I would have liked that extra dish and the guards have the capacity for it. If your mate doesn't have an XY diff, or he just doesn't want the hassle of twelves, we might be able to cut a deal...

  • one of the sweetest coloured xb coupes ive seen on the tube. excellent

  • @cameron300462 Thanks, being a gold car (boring Tropic Gold) I had to pick something of a similar hue, this is "Acid Rush" which was a year or two old on BA Falcons when I did the resto. Personally, I'm not a fan of the colour on most BAs, especially base models with black plastic trimmings, but with all the curves of the coupe and especially the chrome to offset it, I too reckon its awesome! I know its not everyone's cup of tea but thanks for the kudos.

  • cheers nice car mate sounds really nice!

  • @Samgtho Cheers!

  • @sircookealot I'll let him know but knowing Rob and how much money he has, I would say he'll probably go new for his. cheers cam.

  • sorry ... did not notice the above info. cheers.

  • @Samgtho They are the first in Australia, branded as "Coupe-R GT" by Autoworks International, the mob that made the Obsidian SG1 Mustang, you can now get the same thing much cheaper through Raceline and elsewhere so not really custom or in-house design like they advertise. Mine are 17x8 and 18x10, full polished, with tri-spoke centres. You can get black or whatever other centres suit different cars/colours, I reckon they look like a modern take on the old GT40 rim. Google Autoworks you'll see em

  • what mag's are you using?
