This is the video also known as 'Blimey, that was quick!' Simply because iPod images are easy to do on Photoshop and I had to the songs already at my disposal in my CD collection.

This one has less characters in it 'cos I'm trying to keep the number of characters in each video as even as possible.

It was really hard to find ones for Deneve and Galatea but I managed to find ones in the end. Hope they're okay.

DISCLAIMER: Anyone who vaguely knows Claymore or the songs I used would know that I have no input in the series or the music. All credit for that goes to Norihiro Yagi and the song writers.

  • Even though you said you rushed Deneve's song, I really liked that one for her character. I can't say I really understood Ophelia's, though. ^^;

I enjoyed all of the other ones, though. (:

  • I know. Well, I didn't want to do any of the cliched ones like 'Getting Away with Murder' or 'Meaning of Life'. I wanted to show Ophelia in a better light so I did 'Welcome to the Black Parade'.

Hey, guess what? I've done another one!

  • Well, I can understand. You like Ophelia, so you wanted to use a song that made her seem a bit better. (By my comment you can probably tell that I am not such a fan of Ophelia though, eh? xD)

Anyway, at the rate you are making these things, I am never going to get to make more for myself. :P

  • Well, I might take a bit of a break now. That is, until I get more manga books so I can use the scans of the characters that aren't in the anime. And so I can give you a chance!

  • OMG still doll from Vampire Knight thank you for making my day

  • awww epic ^_^ I loved Riful's theme :)

  • Example: For Raphaela "Dehumanized" by Disturbed. It's about someone so hurt by love that they run from it, forever. To them nothing can replace what they lost and they'ree too scared to try to find love again. However deep down they want nothing more than love, they'd even go as far as offering there soul to find love again... as long as it they'd never be hurt by love again. Since that's not possible they destroy everything/everyone in order to escape... love. To me, that's Raphaela.

  • I guess what I'm trying to say is... when picking a theme song I believe the Lyrics must match the characters driving force and personality not one or the other.

    Continued...

  • Well, for Helen "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" does cover a large aspect of her personality... her humor. However "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" is a bit light for an offensive warrior... she does have a fire burning deep with in her too.

I'm assuming you mean "Call to arms" by Manowar. That song has a lot of positives and some negatives... it's about vengeance against evil men but it's based on Viking philosophy not Miria's sparing the current Claymore's but not the org.

  • A good song for Helen is "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" and another good song for Miria is "Call to arms"

  • I rather liked it. There were some I was not to sure about but they fit. nice job :D

  • You're not saying anything about the songs I chose for Miria, Helen, Deneve and Galatea. What's your opinion on my choices for them?

  • Ran out of characters...

Except Raki there is not a single character that isn't great ALL the time in Claymore. Raki though, is needed plot wise. Both Ophelia and Riful are incredible villains (and all around characters) since they bring SO much out of Clare and gang, I'm a big fan of both of them (and Rigardo).

So don't take me wrong as hating them. I'm just saying if your picking serious theme songs for them you need to pay more attention to the songs meaning and feeling, than the title.

  • Im very confused, wtf was with Ophelia and Riful's Songs? They where just wrong and totally didn't fit the characters...

Ophelia got a song commemorating her passing, not one that fit her personality (except for the title of the song it didn't fit)

Riful GOT A RELIGIOUS SONG WTF!!!! (also only the title fit, not the lyrics...) Riful is the F***ing Devil since when she is being polite whine she plotting your demise... or figuring out what little use you have to her and how to exploit it.

    IMHO
