alamogordo flashflood part1

this video I took of the flashflood in alamogordo NM
sorry it was so short, but towards the end of the vid I was running out of memory in the camera AND I noticed that my truck was running downhill with the flood waters. OUCH! (Mom's gonna KILL me for that!) (Her truck)
truck finally stopped about 4 block away. (Mom didn't find out that the truck went on its own way until 6 years later (boy, was she mad then!))

That mesquite floating down the arroyo could just as easily be a person or animal. Be aware of the danger.... Thanks for sharing this video. I grew up in Alamo and still remember floods there back in the '50's and 60's.
