We did the Coconut Cream Relaxer by thatgirrl5. We used the exact products, brands, and measurements to ensure we garnered the same results.

The recipe is:
2tbs Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil
1.5 tbs Tropical Traditions Coconut Cream Concentrate
8-12 oz Plain Yogurt (or fat-free yogurt)

Overall we gave it 2 thumbs up!

  • oh my gosh she has OPRAH's eyes

  • would you consider the coconut cream relaxer a moisture deep conditioning or a protein deep conditioning/protein treatment? i would love to try it, but i'm torn. i used coconut oil as a prepoo and after shampoo and conditioning with my moisture based shampoo and conditioner, my hair was hard! would you suggest to use this as a once a month protein treatment IF it is a mainly, protein based deep conditioning? please answer, i'm just a gurl with curls, trying to see what works! <3

  • I find that coconut cream irritates my scalp so I use the Baka Natural Laxer sold on chacoal.com
