i had a different path in the environment thing and by making another one it deletes the other.

You pretty much lost me once you started going into the command prompt. I'd recommend showing us how to get the path by going through the different windows. Especially since you don't zoom in on what you type in the prompt or say what you typed, or how you got the prompt to go into anything but c:\users\[Name here]. That was a fairly large oversight on your part. Windows 7 has a magnifying glass tool you know, in accessories.

I have tried to set up the paths following the examples from 20-30 different videos and websites that tell you 20-30 different ways to set it up for windows 7. I give up. I think that I am just not meant to be a programmer. I'm sureI will make a better cadaver.
