I agree with you. Andy didn't want to be remembered just for playing in Taxi. I was watching the clips and I didn't think it was very funny. Like Andy, I also hate sic coms. I agree with him about a lot of things actualy. I think that his hole ruteen had to do with logic. I always think it's funny when people get rialed up about his wrestling. It doesn't take me long to understand his joke. I guess it's because I'm a logical person.
lmaooo Andy HATED taxi, and they mostly hated him for his antics. Not until after he died did they have any positive words for him. Bastards. A "Comedy Salute to Andy Kaufman" should not include 1 second of Taxi material.
@joshgearey dude, if you don't like the quality then upload it yourself. I am thankful this guy uploaded this thing and made it available for us to see.
@TwiPrime Yah very true. Fear & worry; that's my biggest problem. And hard work is a bummer, especially now when most people think things just come to them. But I AM sure if you work hard, you don't fear it too much...Maybe you might get worrisome. So I completely agree with you! I'm constantly working that through my head, especially when someone throws the odd question like "What do you want to do when you get 'older?"
I often think that too. Apparently Andy just decided what would happen and then made it happen. Not without hard work, of course, but it seems like he embraced some kind of limitlessness.
Seems like, if I say to myself, 'there's nothing I can't do, so I'm going to just *do* the things I'm dying to do,' maybe the only thing that keeps me from it is fear. Maybe the hard work burns away the fear? I'm still working this out in my head. Your thoughts are welcome. :)
I didn't mean to sound big headed about myself.
