  • seems to me that all a "Vandal" needs is a screwdriver not a bat. Ladies and gentlemen always Silicone mount and cover your screws. 2 cents of Silicone can save $1,000 camera. Never use super glue, because it gasses.

Side note: If a baseball bat can separate my arm from my body then this little circus camera doesn't stand a chance. Unless you swing a bat like a 80lb weakling. (rule #1) Cameras are always mounted 9ft and up.

  • With the camera set that low, doesn't it highlight the huge flaw the Q60 and P55 PTZ cameras have with a seam in the upper area of the dome? I would think you want to mount it higher to avoid this flaw. After you've seen the flaw, all you want to do is take a baseball bat to it.

  • @tylerlavite

Who said anything about a baseball bat?

  • @Zeamus634 most PTZ cameras are vandal resistant a baseball bat is not going to affect it one bit.

  • Damn! You need to be a circus uni-cyclist to install it! I'll never be able to do it.

  • A camera at that height will get smashed!
