  • Why do people advertise their PM's and guns? The gov must have a nice list from Google through IP addresses. First doors to knock down. You've become the early warning system for the quiet stackers. Govs are flat broke... remember? What type of person believes in evil and broke govs yet shows their stash to them... some wild behavior.

  • @UnitedCorpOfAmerica They know whether you show it or not. What do you think the the patriot act is used for to spy via satellite, drone, cell phones, internet, on star, credit cards payments, magazine subs, tv you watch, your email address and on and on. when it comes down to it, if it gets that point, we will all be losing a lot more then guns and metals anyway

  • I want to spark a debate about .925 coins and .999 coins. Obviously, .999 pure is more valuable than .925. However,...to acquire .999 you have to pay huge premiums. So let's start the debate,..at what point or price should one settle for .925 instead of .999? Where I live,..to acquire .925 I pay only about $2 above spot price,....no premiums no taxes,..very cheap. To buy .999 you pay almost double spot price including premiums, commissions, taxes and having to give ALL my personal info

  • @cloudskipper40 Investing is a personal and individual choice, So no two people will or shall invest same. What suits you may not be as good of an option to me. Someone may want .925 because it is cheaper but someone else might want .999 just to more easily add up total weight and value. So I say it depends on the individual doing the investing.

  • @USpatriot88 Is Apmex legit?

  • @Dailybabble Yes but they are not the cheapest.

  • Great stash . I love those Indian head Buffalos . Keep on stackin brother !

  • @K5Doom I know these data for conductivities. However I don't know which metal is used more often to PLATE connctors. Perhaps gold. I've only found some numbers for industrial demand for silver and gold. So it was 287 tonnes in 2010 for gold in electronics. For silver it was about 680 tonnes used only in PC's and laptops, the same year. It doesn't include mobiles, cars, etc. I haven't found specific data for plating.

  • @K5Doom Yes, true, sorry. But I think, you suggested that gold is used INSTEAD of silver, because it doesn't corrode (which is common opinion) and my point is that silver doesn't corrode also at normal conditions. Definitely, gold is used because of the reason you gave.

  • @thequasijoe I never said that Silver was NOT used, but this is still the reason why gold is often used to plate connectors.

If you take a look at the table on the wiki page about "Electrical Conductivity"

You can see that silver has a resistivity of 1.59E−8 ohm*m compared to gold's 2.44E−8

  • Nice stash. Hope you bought all of that a few years ago when silver was cheap. All precious metals have spiked and will eventually drop. As soon as the economy picks up again the prices of that stuff will fall like a fat girl down the stairs after a night at the pub. That's the time to buy all the silver you can and wait for the next spike. Buy low and sell high my friend.

  • @Dailybabble SUPER LEGIT!

  • Cool stash, keep stackin!

  • You guys below are dumb. I would not sell my 25th anniversary 5 coin set eagles for spot, only 100k minted. 40 million eagles are minted each year.
