  • Thank you.

I enjoyed your performance VERY MUCH.

  • it is not my perfomance. it is the perfomance of Efim Aleksandrov. He is my favorite singer of jewish songs.

    HELLO, MEMBER CHANNEL INVITATION

  • Wonderful song... I used to understand Yiddish but it was a long time ago, is there a translation either into English, Russian or Polish? Thanks.

  • Gracias!

  • @rosnewusa Chochick is an old Yiddish word, rarely used these days. I can't find it on an online dictionary, Which doesn't surprise me, as the US seems to have its own form of Yiddish

Not the Yiddish I grew up in London with from the shetls of the old Soviet bloc countries

Would translate it as "at least"

  • @cockneydoll

my dad always said "hochick" and I've been searching after it ever since, nobody except from you seems to have heard this version. Thanks so much!

  • @balkvic

I think another way is: khoch nor a bissele glick/כאטש נאר א ביסעלע גליק

  • @balkvic, mine too =) thank you for sharing.

  • Excellent performance

  • @DAVEPAPER2153 hotch a (noun) means at least

  • @balkvic not hocha...it's hochick

As for kutcha, I have no idea wha you mean and I speak yiddish
