  • Very nicely done.

You mind me asking what kind of camera you're using?

  • @stengweed A Canon 7D (the lens a secret ;)

  • @mylesoreilly Interesting. Effectively you're using a DSLR to make videos. Does it have some sort of magical anti-shake or are you on a tripod? The focusing is seamless and I'm wondering whether all of the depth of field shots are automatic or the result of a very good lens and steady hands.

  • @stengweed 50mm Nikon Nikkor Manual focusf.1.4 lens from 1978 and a combination of a Stedicam Merlin/Smoothcam plugin&surgeons hands!

  • Yay!!! I thought this was to disapear forever like the Lisa Hannigan one you put up for two seconds (when will we see that again?). Anyways, this is sooooo repeatable and gorgeous thank you, I'm in love with Julie Feeney :)

  • @mamsmenu not to worry, that Lisa vid is waiting until after the next album is released. Glad you got a sneak peek x

  • I love the video and the music . I used to go to school at the Collage Irlandais between 1968-72. The video captures the Paris I remember.

  • Lovely video and music! This is a new find for me but I absolutely love it!

  • this is so unbelievable, she is beautiful in every way

  • Makes me want to go to Paris right now! Without a house on my head mind you. Beautiful work Myles, thanks for sharing.

  • What can I say. Normally this is not my style of music. I would have skipped looking this video after let's say 60 seconds. But you managed to transport it in a way, so that i appreciate it more and looked it through all the 14 minutes. Fascinating... I like how you connect the music with your recordings. Certainly black and white was a perfect choice here too... Thanks for sharing this one...

  • @mylesoreilly Cheers Myles. I knew it had to be the actual filming and not a FCP edit jobbie. Well done and enjoy New York.

  • @stengweed ....or a steadycam. Sorry I'm an idiot. It was late.

  • Sigh, I turn up in this at the concert..how I wish you'd gotten my better angle...other then that it looks beautiful, very evocative.
