Thank you for not letting it to destroy you and becoming a man and a good father. It's true there are so many situation people tend not to think about. It's good to be prepared, especially emotionally. You're right, everyone should have some kind of back-up. It can happen to anyone.

What a wake up call. You should be a speaker. I think you would motivate many people. You certainly moved me. So nice to listen to someone speaking of what he knows in a real way. Thanks for sharing....

@OutWestt1 I'd be glad to do it, there is much more to the story than I had time to put in this video. I felt like I had to put a little of it out there though, so people can understand that it happens here and all the time to too many people. Thanks for watching.

Your story touched my heart. Thank you for sharing this very personal story. I also think about the many people that don't have a clue (like me about 6 to 8 months ago). I have been prepping since I have become aware and will continue to do so. It seems as if I can't do it fast enough sometimes, but I do what I can afford to do. Something is more than nothing.

@ladyb003 Sometimes I feel good when I get things put back then it can be weeks before I am able to again. I never feel like I am where I need to be. But then again, where is the finish line to know how much? Anything..is better than nothing. We do what we can when we can, at least we try. Last stat I saw was 7% of our population are preparing for emergencies. So 93% of the U.S. would rather roll the dice.
