Anger and outrage over Turkish provocations against Israel continue to simmer in Los Angeles - around 4,000 supporters of Israel came out today to express their disgust with Turkey and its sending a flotilla of violent terrorist supporters, including terrorist organization members, to challenge Israel's legal blockade of the Hamas terrorist run Gaza. The real purpose of the flotillas is to force open a route to smuggle more arms to the Hamas terrorists.

Leaders of the Jewish Community and major political figures including Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Congressman Brad Sherman, Councilwoman Janice Hahn, Chuck Devore, Christian leaders, and others were there to express their support for Israel and its right to defend itself.

Speaker after speaker slammed the Moslem extremists who call themselves "peace activists" while practicing violence and spreading their vile anti-Jewish racism. They also slammed the biased anti-Israel media and foreign Governments for the current climate of hypocrisy and double standard toward Israel.

There were appeals for the immediate release of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit who has been held by Hamas terrorists for over 1400 days.

Reporter Helen Thomas was rightly excoriated for her outrageous anti-Jewish racist comments that the Jewish population of "Palestine" should go back to Poland and Germany. Israel belongs to the Jewish people Ms. Thomas - you are an ignorant racist and Hearst Publications should fire you immediately.

  • DEPORT HELEN THOMAS FOR BIGOTRY

  • @Jeansschwimmer And that is the only reason the Radical Palestinian leaders are pushing for settlement destruction as a pre condition for negotiations, because they want a Jew free state. That is pure apartheid, just as has been practiced in the Arab world for decades now. The ethnic cleansing of thousand year old Jewish communities all over the Middle East, places like Hebron, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, etc. Yet, Israel, with full and equal rights for Arabs, is called the apartheid state, hypocrisy!

  • @Jeansschwimmer That is pure ignorance, many settlers are indeed fanatics, but they are not the same as Likud. Lieberman gets an especially bad rap in the West because o the liberalized pre-conceived notion of blame the white man. The fact of the matter is, putting all emotions aside, the only way true peace will occur is with the overthrow of the Jordanian regime, the establishment of a Palestinian state east of the Jordan river, division of the West Bank, and Gaza being returned to EGYPT!

  • @Jeansschwimmer They should adopt a nationality that exists, Jordanian, SYrian, Lebanes, a nationality they recognized with prior to 1965 and the PLO. Suddenly, they became "Palestinians" overnight. If anything, they should overthrow the Hashemite minority oppressive regime of Jordan and declare that as Palestine, as it has always been considered East Palestine. Look up how Jordan treats the Palestinians and take a look at Mudar Zahran, a Palestinian politician who's fled after preaching logic

  • @TheIDFman Do you know what Libermann said when the German foreign minister Steinmeier talked to him about the settlements? He said the German minister surely dreamed of "Samaria and Juda" being "judenrein".

Do you know what "judenrein" means- free of Jews"- it means Auschwitz. That is the way the Israeli right talks to its "allies" and "friends". And you speak of "diplomacy"- There has been no diplomat in Israeli service ever Rabin was butchered down by the ame rightists you call "necessary".

  • @Jeansschwimmer Israel has no responsibility in the West Bank except to protect the settlers who are citizens of Israel. The reason they live in the West Bank near the green line is because any future borders will include militarized zones near the green line whether the Arabs like it or not. History has left us no other choice. The Arabs will never accept peace with Israel no matter what which is why Israel is pushing for revised 1967 borders, the Arabs forced Israel into the West Bank!

  • @Jeansschwimmer As for the sewage problem, I agree it is a huge problem, but people like you are using this unrelated topic to divert from real negotiations concerning life and death matters like settler violence and Arab violence. The reason the PLO (has jurisdiction in the WB)can't get funding to divert the sewage is because of their people's continued aggression on settlers and Hamas reconciliation. The PLO is corrupt as shit and could have taken care of the problem a long time ago

  • @TheIDFma

How stupid do you think that Arabs are? They became Israelis because they did not flee like many other of their people. They belong to the 20% of Israelis of Arab origin that Israel tolerates. At the same time it refuses the right to return to other Arabs, because Israel's tolerance has limits.

Which Arab nationality should they adopt? They live in their home country. If they aopted another citizenship the would be deported as "undesireable alians" within a few days.

  • @Jeansschwimmer No, you are absolutely right, Jews have no right to live in the West Bank where they've lived for thousands of years. Why is there Israeli military presence? Because of scumbag Arab acts like Gush Katif and Itamar. The Settlements make up about 2-3% of the West Bank area, including the security wall it goes to about 6%, more than 80% of which is right next to the green line. So tell me then, why are these settlements such a stopping block for negotiations, quest for judenrein?
