I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem.

It took me 3 years to finish community college, and since I'm almost done with my higher college, that's another 3.5 to 4 years! So that's 7 altogether!

But I'm ALMOST THERE, BABY!!! I CAN SEE THE FINISH LINE!!!

most kids graduate in 5 years now. 4 is no longer the norm. 4 is what you should graduate in if you take atleast 15 credits every semester for 4 years, but most kids these days graduate in 5 years.

Right there with you aperkins07 and HALFTHEMIKE. I've made my fair share of mistakes in my college career, still unfortunately having a struggle here or there, and of course I changed my major a couple of times. At my current pace I hope to be finished in 1.5 to 2 more years myself (which would put my college career at 6.5 to 7 years long). Point is we will hold our heads up high and finish the fight.

Stick with it brother! I'm in my seventh year right now! haha I'm graduating in the spring! I'm getting this phrase put on a t-shirt so I can wear it under my gown. It says: "Ya know, A lot of people go to college for Seven Years"

A friend of mine graduated College 6 years after graduating High School but he took a year off after finishing Community College and starting at a University (needing 3 years there before getting his Bachelor's).

One person who I was going to College with said he was graduating after 6 years, I thought it meant that it took him 6 years to get his Bachelor's but then he told me that he got a Master's (can you imagine how embarrassed I felt).

It took my cousin 6 years to graduate too but why do people worry so much about how long it takes them or someone else to graduate college anyway??, at least the person that barely graduates in 7 years from college is a step ahead of most Americans and people should care more about their learning than grades, test scores and how long it takes them to graduate too.
