Dear Driver "Letter" Video

Dear Driver http://www.deardriver.org is a project to improve the understanding between cyclists and motorists.

We provide cyclists with Dear Driver letters which can be given to motorists when you feel endangered in traffic. The letter that includes a personal statement, vehicular traffic laws and advice from the DOT about how motorists can share the road with cyclists. The idea is that the driver can then consider the letter in a cooler moment and perhaps make a choice to change their behavior. The letter also invites the driver to respond via email, starting a dialogue outside the heat of the moment, where hopefully greater perspective resides.

We also provide a 3 steps method to handle conversations that get heated in traffic.
