Typical Chinese crocodile lizard cage design

Typical cage design for a Chinese crocodile lizard (Shinisaurus crocodilurus). We keep 1.1 to 1.2 per cage, staying outside year round. Cover the cage with transparent plastic sheeting in winter to keep rain, snow, and cold out. It is important to also install fine steel wire mesh UNDER the cage, to keep out predators. Only 800 of these rare lizards survive in the wild. Agama International is the world's biggest breeder of this endangered species. Babies for sale in summer time only.
