That is so weird. I'm also a musician and have had the recurring dream of finding a "long lost tape" with that one golden track on it. Hearing one of my favourite artists saying the same thing is pretty electrifying :)

Great to see The 'pusher giving us some personal low down and a true insight into his thoughts and views on music and life. Reading between the lines, I believe he won't pull an 'Aphex' on us and discontinue album output. He pretty much says he has the time and constant motivation. I just hope he does fulfil his dream in a kind of final Squarepusher requiem that does complete his truly historic works and achievements, in a Tundra 4-esque masterpiece.

I'm very glad to hear that Mr. Jenkinson is keeping his creativity alive, and is pushing himself towards more melodic works. His late-90s/early-00s material was more "drum-orientated", but he's changed that since then and has arguably become one of the few "90s" electronic artists who's music is still relevant (whatever the hell that means), creative, unique, fun, inspired and relatively unpredictable. He seems like a decent guy, too.
