Mine also have toons of it, but then again I have the money for it so he allways gives me a smile when I enter the shop.

Gave up on GW a few years ago. Only game I play by them is Space Hulk Third Edition. I'm really into Infinity and Malifaux at the moment. I used to be really ignorant towards other games companies when I was younger, until I actually looked into them.

i rememebr they days of buying a box of 20 guardsmen for £18. a leman russ for £20. and a basilisk was also £18. now what is it... 10 guardsmen for £20, £28 or something stupid for a russ and the same for a basilisk. fucking bollocks

most probably if GW was you4 business you would all do the same. Don't forget they have been in business for a long time while the new comera might just disappear because they are not selling high enough. i play WFB and Infinity and i am fully satisfied with them both as they balance everything out. happy new year

Getting back into the hobby. Had 40k 2nd or 3rd E, was browsing around, REALLY interested in Infinity, MERCS, and Warmachine. On ebay found a seller selling the starter for 40k, Black Reach, for 50 bucks. No one could turn it down. 40ish minis for 50 bucks... Probably will only use these minis as proxy for Infinity or MERCs though, haha. The rules for 40k just... I dunno. The only, ONLY thing GW have ever done right are the skirmish games. Blood Bowl is still going strong all these years

Aaagh! Screw GW! Play games like 5150 and GRUNTZ AND .45 Adventures that let you use whatever figures you want. Games from miniatures companies can often end up being a trap...

as someone else said ... can't remember who but they said " The thing about GW is they don't care about people quitting the hobby, because there will always be someone who is wanting to start to replace them. Also the one who quits will know that the prices have been raised but the new person will most likely not ... therefore the cycle continues" it came to my mind ( EXCUSE TYPOS 5 AM all nighter )

GW has really killed the passion of the game for me ... I don't even own a store or that .. but just the prices are stupid .... really has ruined it for me

Hay man makes mne laugh , I've got that "Skelenton Army" box in my hand right now , it included 30 skilingtons and 10 mounted skelingtons (also had a chariot so u can use 2 of the horses and riders as the crew if you want) , they also did a small box of skelington guys that had about 20 in (cant find the box for that one) i think I paid £15 or £20 for the big box. I got skelingtons because it was the cheep way into the fantasy armies :-)
