RCA VICTOR 45 RECORD PLAYER DISNEY CHARACTERS MODEL 45-EY-15 1950

I got this off ebay and it was missing the RCA VICTOR badge and was very dirty. I had a spare badge and cleaned it up. I had the amp rebuilt and put in a new idler wheel and cartridge and it works fine. I loaded it with my old records I had as a kid. I am still waiting for that trip in a rocketship !!!

That sounds excellent! You replaced the rubber idler wheel and the phono cartridge, but did you lubricate any of the moving parts at all? It seems to work extremely smooth. Listening to those tunes on this RCA..... wow, even though I wasn't born back the, what a better time it was back then huh?

I also have the Alice in Wonderland record player. Mine doesn't work though. I believe it's the speaker, everything else seems to be in working order. Unfortunately, I do not know how to restore it.

I have an Alice in Wonderland that I restored, I also have this player that was destroyed by the P.O. so I have to get another case for it.

You can by repro decals for these players but they're pretty expensive.

Very cool record player! My 45-EY is just like that, but without the Disney graphics.
