Still awkward seeing Kareem at about 45 years old, blocking shots and sky-hooks. He actually did look graceful and ballet-like for a guy 7'2.

Love the showtime lakers. Hard to tell which Lakers I like more, the kobe shaq era, showtime lakers, or the current laker squad. All and all, through the bad, good, and ugly, will always be a laker fan. Thank you for the great memories/the memories to come.

@31NBAallstar I don't think they did. Hakeem entered the NBA as "Akeem" and he later changed it for religious reason claiming that he didn't change it, but rather corrected it.

Man, everytime I see the '89 team, I get mad that Riley overworked them while waiting for the Pistons. This should've been the 1st THREEPEAT (which Riley coined btw) of the post Celtic era.
Come to think of it, if the Pistons lose TWO Finals in a row (88 & 89), do they even make it in 1990?

@Edd1e8 you're right.. if the PIstons lose 88 and 89 finals, they definitely wouldn't have been back in 90.. i think it would've made sense to 'restructure'.. funny how things turn out huh?
