"Your sister's drowned."
"Drowned?"
And then he doesn't say, "WHAT!? No! Are you for reals?"
He says "Where??"

Is it just me, or is his five o'clock shadow painted on just a little too perfect? oh well, it's David so perfect is fitting.

Anyone else think that Laertes looks like a fish in this?

@TypoMonster There probably would have been if Gertrude hadn't interrupted

I'm disappointed that they abridged the soliloquy. I would have loved to hear Tennant do "What is a man...?" =(
-
I was really expecting an evil laughing fest at the end of their plotting.
muahahaHAHAHAHAAHHHH
... you know.

Patrick Stewart, you are delightfully evil in this. David Tennant, you are utterly mad and wonderful for that.

Laertes is one of my favorite characters of all times.
he is really trying to be a good guy and avenge his family's death just as Hamlet is. it really makes the final act so poigniant
